What are Din Standards?

Din Standards is the German national organization for standardization and is the German ISO member body. DIN is a German Registered Association having its headquartered in Berlin. There are currently around thirty thousand DIN Standards, covering nearly every field of technology. Anyone across the globe can submit a proposal for a new standard. All stakeholders can participate in this work, including manufacturers, suppliers, stockists, stockholders, consumers, businesses, research institutes, public authorities, and testing bodies. DIN Standards are reviewed at least every 5 years. If a standard no longer reflects the current state of technology, it is either revised or withdrawn.
